We are primarily student housing, however you do not have to be student to call The Highlands home, we lease to anyone that meets our rental qualifications.

 

We do allow pets at our community! We welcome dogs and cats 40 pounds or less in size. There is a one-time non-refundable pet fee of $300 (per pet), and a monthly pet rent of $25 (per pet). Max 1 pet allowed.

Yes, we offer roommate matching! Roommates are matched based on your preferences - things like study habits, hobbies, sleeping habits, cleanliness, etc.

We are located just two blocks from the UNR campus! Making for a short, beautiful walk to class!

In total, there are 732 residents that call The Highlands home! Allowing tons of opportunities to meet new friends, study partners, and neighbors.

Yes! We offer some of the best parkin in the area! Residents get free uncovered parking within our gated community. We do have a limited number of assigned covered parking spots for $35/month

Utilities are not included in rent. Water, sewer, trash, and internet are an additional charge of $28/month. Gas and electricity usage is charged separately through a third-party service.

We are excited to welcome our new residents home on August 15th 2022 for the Fall semester. Currently we are unable to accommodate early move-ins.

Our apartments are fully furnished for your convenience and comfort! However, we encourage you to make your apartment your home away from home and do not restrict bringing your own furniture.

You must be 18 years or older to sign a lease.

The security deposit is $100 for qualifying applicants.

You do not have to have a Guarantor, however it is recommended. Typically with the help of your Guarantor you will qualify for a low $100 deposit. Contact the office for more information on Guarantors.
